THE SQUAMISH COMMUNITY

Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue

Volunteering for this organization has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in my life. It has opened my eyes as I have seen firsthand how much can change in a moment, whether it being weather or other unforeseen events.

Being prepared out there is critical and can alleviate unnecessary stress on yourselves or on rescue resources.

A reminder to all that the Howe Sound is full of kiters, SUPs, sailboats, commercial, pleasure crafts and marine life so please enjoy the area responsibly.

Welcome!

GETTING INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY

I am a big advocate of getting involved with your community in any way you can. Whether you are able to donate your time, and money, or simply by buying and supporting local businesses with your purchases it all helps.

As a father of three and a devoted realtor who gives his time to the ocean through RCMSAR, there are a few charities and non-profits that I like to support. I encourage you all to get involved in any way you can, especially if you are new to the area as it's a great place to meet new friends, learn some skills, contribute to our trail network and give a helping hand.
